Having cultivated an elite private clientele in Manhattan and Boston over the past 8 years, Ryan Nickulas established his eponymous New York City salon in early Fall 2008, bringing his expertise in hair and makeup under one signature roof. His philosophy- which stresses a commitment to individuality and building self-confidence, while remaining current with hair and makeup trends窶覇xtends into his hands-on approach as a personal beauty technician and the intimacy of the salon. "I wanted to create a space where clients can feel totally at home, while experiencing the ultimate luxury of one professional expert catering to their total beauty desires and individual needs," says Ryan.

Ryan's career began in his native Massachusetts, where he attended the Beauty Creators Academy before building acclaim for both styling and color on Boston's prestigious Newbury Street and in the chic beach retreat of Cape Cod. With a clientele including local celebrities, the wives of professional athletes and members of the Kennedy family, his professionalism, intuition and sincerity helped him earn his premier reputation. In 2006, Ryan relocated to Manhattan, where he expanded his services to include work in fashion, editorial and advertising campaigns. Garnering a private clientele that spanned from Manhattan to the Hamptons, his dream to establish his own salon became a necessity. Located at 82 West 12th Street, the Ryan Darius Salon is a private and relaxing retreat for clients. Situated on the ground floor of a gated townhouse, Old Hollywood regency mixed with modern glamour, in hues of black, cream and gold, create a tastefully posh and comfortable setting. With over seven years of experience in every aspect of hair, Rosemary remains current in the most up to date looks and style for Business, Play, Photo Shoots & Weddings.

A former hair stylist at Premier Atelier salon at Nieman Marcus in Westchester, NY, Rosemary specializes in both Color and Styling and is always up to date on the latest trends. She provides each client with her expert knowledge and tools to duplicate their everyday style from work to home. If you are looking for a new look, or just maintaining the style that you have, Rosemary will work with you to achieve your individual look.

 

 

 

Anthony Joseph

Anthony Joseph started his career at the internationally known Toni and Guy. Looking to advance his career he moved to to NY to pursue salon and fashion hairstyling. Within a year he was working for Cutler SoHo. During his time there he was able build a clientele and work on his freelance career Some of his work includes working with Victoria Beckham, Naomi Watts, Rachel Ray, Armani, Escada, WWD, Elle, and Nylon Magazine. He has also lead and been included in numerous shows for NYC fashion week. Anthony is excited to bring his talents to the Ryan Darius Salon.

Mila Byeon

Mila Byeon, a color specialist has been in the hair industry for 8 years. She started her career at Gavert Atelier, Beverly Hills, and was trained to be specialized in hair coloring at Umberto salon in Beverly Hills. She made a bold move to New York City, to explore fashion and beauty....Mainly worked at Cutler in Soho. She worked with a number of fashion and commercial models in Ford and Wilhelmina. Worked on TV shows, 'Make me a super model' and 'She's got the look'. Did a number of models hair, wigs, and extensions for edtorial photo shoots, commercial ads, TV and salon collections. Did a makeover on Style Cast. ,

Eva Humber

Inspired at a young age to pursue beauty and fashion, Eva launched her career in the industry in NYC at age 18. Beginning her training with Cutler, Eva was exposed to the city's most up to date color trends and techniques as well as styling backstage at NY Fashion Week. With an interest in branching out to Film and Television she moved to Los Angeles and implemented Makeup and Special Effects to her career. After 4 years of working in Hollywood and Beverly Hills' most prestigious hair salons she returned to New York City where she continues to deliver the most current trends and styles. Eva believes that your hair should be your favorite accessory.

Dawn Marino

As a little girl growing up in her family痴 hair salon, Dawn Marino would pretend to style the hair of the clients while they sat in the chair. She would spend her days fascinated, watching her mother and grandmother as they worked. A graduate of the Aveda Institute in SoHo, Dawn has started her own journey as a hair stylist. In addition to an extensive education from Aveda, Dawn is currently studying closely as an assistant under Ryan Nickulas and the rest of the team at Ryan Darius Salon. Her time in the salon is accompanied by work assisting at various photo shoots and events, including Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Dawn brings her enthusiasm to each service, as she greets every day at the salon with excitement.
